Please join us for a collaborative community bird walk by Beach Stewards of Kala Point and Rain-shadow Bird Alliance. Together we’ll explore the full stretch of the beach and lagoon, observing the birds that call this shoreline home in June. It’s a chance to meet fellow birders and bird loving neighbors while sharing our treasured coastal habitats. All birding levels are welcome.

Directions & Limited Access: Meet at Kala Point beach, located within a private residential community. Registered guests can reach the beach parking lot via Hwy 19 to Prospect Avenue. Turn left - Kala Point Dr. Drive through the open entrance gate; 1st right - Sailview Dr. (large blue sign); drive down the road to the end (beach level is gravel). Parking is on immediate right in gravel parking lot or parallel to shore.

Parking is limited; carpool if possible.
