Beverly McNeil spent the month of November 2025 in Costa Rica staying in three different locations. Starting her first 10 days at La Selva Biological Station which is a very important Organization for Tropical Studies in the Caribbean lowlands rainforest, then to nearby Selva Verde for another week then onto the Osa Peninsula on the remote Tiger River for another week.
Although she has numerous photos of birds she encountered she would like to share an almost equal amount of other animals such as the Collared Anteater known as the Tamandua and the Emerald Basilisk Lizard, Two-toed Sloth with young, Red-eyed Tree Frogs and numerous interesting, beautiful insects. She travels and explores on her own and enjoys making her own discoveries and then loves sharing them with others. If you’ve never been to Costa Rica and you are interested in visiting that wonderful nature-filled country, you can contact Beverly for some good tips.
