We will be pulling invasive plants (i.e., Scots broom, holly, ivy, spurge laurel) and picking up trash. Meet on the Loop Trail between Chase Bank and the Benedict Street trail. Scots broom pullers, trash bags, trash extractors and refreshments provided.

Heavy rain or wind cancels. While you’re heading from parking to the workparty, note the beautiful new Douglas-fir bench installed at the east end of the Loop Trail to replace the failing bench that looked into the woodland. The new bench was donated anonymously by Rainshadow members, constructed and installed by the Quimper Parks & Trees Foundation, and is a tribute to our chapter’s late benefactor, Pat Reeve.
