Steve Hampton, our chapter conservation chair, has been invited to this yearʻs Wooden Boat Festival to speak about Rainshadow Bird Allianceʻs Citizen Science efforts. Using 800mm lenses, Rainshadow Bird Alliance’s Citizen Science At-sea Seabird Surveys – a volunteer effort created by locals – has collected data on the birds and fish, and produced astonishing images showing how rich our waters are.
