Thursday, February 19 at 7:30pm, Cindy Daily with Discovery Bay Wild Bird Rescue will bring her live birds and give us insights as to the mission and successes of Discovery Bay Wild Bird Rescue. Donations are welcome to support this important work.

Please note that to avoid the refrigerator compressor noise that has made it difficult for some of our members to hear the speakers, we are trying out a different venue, the Quimper Grange (1219 Corona Avenue). To get there from Hastings Avenue, turn north on Sheridan Street. After traveling four blocks, Sheridan curves to the right to become Silver Street and the Grange will be the yellow building on your left. To get there from San Juan Avenue, turn west on Umatilla Avenue. After traveling a little more than half a mile, turn left onto Silver Street. Go one block, crossing Corona Avenue, and the Grange building will appear on your right.
