Join us for our Sixth New Year’s Day bird walk at Irondale Bay Chimacum Creek Park.

Meet at 9:30 am at 562 Moore Road parking lot.

Enjoy a couple of hours scoping the bay for first of year sea birds, shorebirds, and forest birds.

Dress in warm layers with hats, gloves and mask for comfort, and bring binoculars and spotting scope to help identify the waterfowl. Participants must be vaccinated for Covid19 and wear a mask.

 If we had another field trip leader interested in doing an afternoon new year at this location, we could accommodate another 10 birders to enjoy this first of year event. I'm open to other’s input.
